Choke Canyon Fishing Report

On the water · March 20, 2006

A spring day on Choke Canyon that made the highlight reel: Kelly boated a giant largemouth pushing eleven pounds - a genuine Choke Canyon double-digit at 10-13 - and the supporting cast was not bad either with a 5-13 in the boat on the same trip. March on Choke is big-fish time, when the heaviest prespawn females of the year move up, and this day proved it.
