Choke Canyon Fishing Report

On the water · September 24, 2008

Wild pigs on the Choke Canyon shoreline - a September reminder that the brush country around that lake is as alive as the water.

There was a good bite today too, as we piled them up fishing a frog around the matted grass. Flukes worked well too, and we caught a mess mainly on those two lures. Plenty of alligators were waiting in the water as well, hoping one of the smaller pigs would wander in.
