An October trip to Choke Canyon produced the kind of fish that reservoir is famous for - a largemouth bass right at ten pounds. Fall is one of the best windows for big bass fishing on Choke Canyon: the water cools, the shad pull shallow, and the biggest fish in the lake start feeding up.
